Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb
Hi Guys, How are you today? I wish you are fine and meet again on my
blog.
I will discuss about resume of volare chit chat. That
im listening to volare 103,4 FM at 06.15-08.00 pm
It devided into 4 segment. "How to say it" ,
"Idioms" , "Bilingual news" and "English,
please!".
Part 1 : How to say it
I learned about an
idiom and how to pronounce the Idiom. Idiom is a batch of word that have a
different meaning from its individual word’s mean. The Idiom I learn in this
segment was “Read someone like a book”. It does’t mean that you read like
reading a book in library, but it mean to completely understand someone or
always know what someone’so thingking about. Other sentences that have similar
meaning with it is “ Read someone’s mind”.
For Examples :
Hermione is
Potter’s best friend. She could read Potter’s mind. She knew how Potter’s felt.
Part 2 : Idioms
From previous
segment, I get one new idiom. In this section i'm listen about idiom that
has word like. idiom is a combination of words that have a meaning that is not
the meaning of the words of its constituent elements. This means that the
phrase has new meaning after two or more words together. Sense of the word
(meaning) in an idiom can not be interpreted to translate the constituent
elements. In English, idiom or expression known as the idiomatic phrase.
Indonesian phrase in order to occupy a function as a complementary predicate.
For Example :
loan shark: moneylender
Masher: flirty
Green table: court
Flower Village: the most beautiful girl
disuatu village
Large head: arrogant
Small heart: no confidence
Part 3 : Bilingual News
There was a really
important news about someone who made a new shocking world record that no
humans could ever match. A man named Simon Berry, this amazing guy succeeded on
breaking the fourth wall by jumping from 75 meter high just for dipping a
biscuit into a cup of tea.
Part
4 : English, please!
Now we come to the last segment, "English,
Please!" The topic is "Idol Worshiping." Well it's not
''worshiping'' in religious way, but more to fanboy/fangirl. It's not like I
hate people like this, who shut him/herself in dark room and in their room
there were a poster of their favorite idol attached to their wall. But for
"Idol Worshiping" I read some news about this before long time ago,
located in Japan, there was an Idol who got stabbed by one of her fans because
he is jealous his Idol have a boyfriend. After read that article, I just shake
my head. My opinion about the topic is I feel pity to people who much
adore to worship their idol in which many of them is willing to
sacrifice their life only to meet his idol. Well, that’s only bullshit or
nonsense to me because they throw their only for their idol where in this
world, there are many kind to do for their life.
Hopefully useful to you, thank you for attention and see you next time
